Fire Reported At Herr's Fruit Farm

A significant fire broke out at Herr's Fruit Farm in Manor Township, Pennsylvania, on Sunday (November 16), causing extensive damage. The fire started in a barn on the 600 block of Habecker Church Road and quickly spread to multiple buildings and several vehicles, fueled by wind gusts nearing 50 miles per hour.

Over two dozen fire crews from Lancaster and York counties, led by Blue Rock Fire Rescue, responded to the scene. According to LancasterOnline, the fire also spread to a nearby cornfield. The National Weather Service had issued a wind advisory for central Pennsylvania, warning of the increased risk of brush fires due to the high winds.

Emergency medical services were dispatched for a report of smoke inhalation, but no other injuries were reported. Fire crews managed to contain the blaze by 3:30 p.m.
