Protests labeled "No Kings Day" are set to occur on Saturday (October 18) across the United States, Canada, and Mexico, targeting President Trump's administration. These demonstrations, organized by the Indivisible project, aim to challenge what they describe as President Trump's authoritarian actions. Events are planned in major cities, including Los Angeles, Boston, and Washington, D.C., with over two thousand protests expected nationwide.

In Pennsylvania, protests will take place in Reading, Lancaster, and Harrisburg, among other locations. Local groups like Mondays With Meuser and Lebanon County Indivisible are organizing a protest at Fisher Veterans’ Memorial Park in Lebanon from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. As reported by LebTown, the protest is described as a "peaceable assembly and protest action."

Republican leaders, including House Speaker Mike Johnson, have criticized the protests, referring to them as a "Hate America rally." Johnson told ABC27 that the protests are organized by "the pro-Hamas wing and the antifa people."

The protests follow a series of demonstrations that began on June 14, coinciding with President Trump's birthday. Organizers claim the protests are non-partisan and aim to defend democratic principles like free speech and the rule of law. According to PennLive, the protests also address issues such as immigration policies, healthcare, and environmental protections.
