Two residents of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, Brianna Mrazik-Warner, 32, and Jerry Puryear, 57, are facing charges for allegedly distributing and selling counterfeit Pennsylvania safety and emissions inspection stickers. The Manor Township Police arrested the duo on Tuesday (October 7).
The investigation revealed that Mrazik-Warner and Puryear were involved in the sale of fraudulent stickers, with police seizing 20 fake state safety and emissions stickers. Authorities have warned that anyone who purchased these counterfeit stickers may soon be contacted by officers. The Manor Township Police Department has already cited 178 individuals this year for displaying fake inspection stickers, highlighting the scale of the issue.
According to WGAL, the counterfeit stickers were allegedly distributed across the county, raising concerns about vehicle safety and emissions compliance. The police department emphasized the importance of using legitimate inspection services to ensure public safety.
