Agriculture Secretary Rollins Visits Lancaster County
(Lancaster County, PA) -- U.S. Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins was in Lancaster County on Monday. Rollins joined Pennsylvania Senator Dave McCormick and several other lawmakers for a discussion with bankers that provide loans to farmers. She said the department is developing a subsidy program to help farmers in financial trouble following the tariffs announced by President Donald Trump, but added that she prays it won't be needed. Rollins also defended the president's tariffs during the visit, stating that they are being used to negotiate fairer trade deals with other countries.
