MONDAY SNOW - WEATHER WARN DAY:
Snow will get more consistent and steadier through the morning and continue through the afternoon before tapering off during the afternoon. Another round of light snow is expected tonight with no more than a coating to an inch expected. Most of the region we'll see a solid 2 to 4 inches with amounts of up to 6 inches possible south of US 30. Much of the accumulation will occur with the first round in the morning. Higher amounts are expected over northern and central Maryland. Travelling for your morning commute will be tricky as the snow will immediately stick to paved surfaces. Travel will continue to be an issue through the remainder of your Monday. Because of this winter storm and the threat for difficult travel, the CBS 21 First Warning weather team has declared Monday a Weather WARN Day.
IT STAYS COLD ALL WEEK:
The rest of the week will remain cold with another shot at some snow towards the end of next week.
