Frontier Airlines, an ultra-low fare carrier, is set to launch 16 new routes across 21 airports in the United States and the Caribbean in February and March 2025. The expansion comes as competitor Spirit Airlines files for bankruptcy.
The new routes will connect consumers to top destinations at ultra-low costs. To celebrate the expansion, Frontier Airlines is offering fares as low as $19. The new routes include service from V.C. Bird International Airport in Antigua and Barbuda to San Juan, Puerto Rico, starting February 15, 2025, subject to government approval.
The airline will also introduce new service from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport to Indianapolis starting March 7, 2025, and from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport to Orlando and Chicago O’Hare starting March 6, 2025.
According to a press release from Frontier Airlines, Josh Flyr, vice president of network and operations design, said, "As consumers begin planning travel for Spring 2025 and beyond, we are delighted to announce 16 new routes to a host of exciting destinations.”
