An ATM was stolen from a Truist Bank in Shrewsbury Township, York County, early Tuesday morning, according to Pennsylvania State Police. The suspects reportedly used a stolen pickup truck and skid loader to remove the ATM before fleeing the scene.
The theft occurred shortly before 2 a.m. at the Truist Bank along Susquehanna Trail South. The suspects had stolen an older-model white Ford F-450 and a skid loader from a nearby maintenance shop, WGAL reported. The skid loader was used to pull out the ATM, which was then loaded onto a trailer connected to the pickup truck.
The skid loader was left at the bank, but the suspects managed to escape with the ATM. PennLive reported that the incident took place around 1:51 a.m. on November 5.
