State Trooper Dies Off-Duty
(Hamburg, PA) -- The Pennsylvania State Police are mourning the loss of a trooper based in Berks County. State Police say Trooper Peter Conforti recently died while off-duty. Conforti graduated from the Academy in 2016 and was assigned to Troop L in Hamburg at the time of his passing. His cause of death has not yet been revealed. He leaves behind a wife and son.
