>>People With ADHD May Be At Higher Risk For Cardiovascular Disease

(Undated) -- A new study finds people with ADHD may be at a higher risk of cardiovascular disease. A group of researchers in Sweden followed 37-thousand people with ADHD for nearly twelve years to see if they developed any heart issues, excluding those who had pre-existing health conditions. According to findings, roughly 38-percent of the group with ADHD had at least one diagnosis of cardiac disease, compared to 24-percent of those without ADHD. Experts say more research is needed since it was study based on correlation, not cause and effect.
