>>Early Morning, Late Evening Best Times To Avoid July 4th Road Trip Traffic

(Undated) -- If you're trying to beat the Fourth of July road trip traffic rush, hopefully you're already on the road.  The worst travel delays are expected Friday afternoon. Transportation data company Inrix suggests the best times to start your road trip are before 10 a.m. Friday or noon Saturday. They also suggest leaving after 9 p.m. Friday or 7 p.m. Saturday to avoid getting stuck in traffic. Sunday and Monday are expected to see the lightest traffic.
