TeeRoy's 2 Cents?:
- This isn’t the only Diddy doc in the works. 50 Cent is working on his own Netflix series about Diddy’s downfall, while the makers of the Nickelodeon docuseries Quiet on Set are working on a third project for Max.
- Everything said and spoken in the dark eventually comes to the light.
- If these projects help not only raise awareness but empower victims and help achieve justice and closure, that's a win all around.
- There's something gross about all of these media companies falling over one another to be the first to report on a story that is still playing out in real time.
- This isn't like the R. Kelly case where the docuseries helped put necessary pressure to help bring Kelly to justice.
Diddy’s dirty laundry will be on full display in a new documentary.
Peacock recently dropped a trailer, offering up a sneak preview of the upcoming The Making of a Bad Boy. The unscripted project features talking heads like journalist Kim Osorio, singer Al B Sure, an ex-bodyguard, and former Bad Boy producer Ron “Amen-Ra” Lawrence.
An official description reads, "Featuring never-before-seen footage and stories from those who know him best, Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy sheds light on his childhood, rise to fame, and recent criminal allegations, challenging viewers to rethink everything they thought they knew about the mogul behind the music—and the mugshot.”
