If You Should Be Without Power Here Is What You Need To Know!

DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa (WHP) — Thousands are experiencing power outages Friday morning as remnants from Debby roll through Central PA.

As of 6 a.m., over 2,000 PPL customers in Dauphin County were experiencing outages.

In Cumberland County, PPL reports that over 700 customers are without power, and First Energy reports nearly 1,000 customers are without power.

Several hundred customers are also out of power across Lancaster, Juniata and York counties.

PPL: Report A Power Outage

Never approach power lines. Stay at least 100 feet away and keep kids and pets away. Always assume they are energized and carrying electricity. If you see a downed line, report it immediately. Call 1-800-342-5775 and say "downed power line".

FIRST ENERGY: REPORT A POWER OUTAGE

Call 911 immediately if you see a downed power line. Stay at least 30 feet away and instruct others to do the same.
