A biopic about Milton Hershey, the renowned chocolate pioneer, and his wife, Catherine "Kitty" Hershey, is set to begin filming in May 2025 in Pennsylvania. Directed by Mark Waters, known for films like 'Mean Girls' and 'Spiderwick Chronicles,' the movie will star Finn Wittrock and Alexandra Daddario as Milton and Kitty Hershey.

The film, titled 'HERSHEY,' aims to explore the origins of the iconic chocolate empire and the couple's enduring legacy of education and community service. According to CBS 21, the movie will provide an authentic portrayal of Hershey's life, thanks to unprecedented access to archives from The Hershey Company and other Hershey entities.

Scheduled for release in 2026, the film will coincide with America's 250th anniversary. As reported by CBS4Indy, the movie is produced by Dandelion Media in partnership with Aloe Entertainment, Peachtree Group, and RCM3. The project highlights Milton Hershey's vision, resilience, and commitment to social good, which includes the establishment of the Milton Hershey School.

The film's producers promise a compelling narrative that showcases Milton and Kitty Hershey's contributions beyond chocolate, emphasizing their impact on education and community development. Michele Buck, President and CEO of The Hershey Company, expressed pride in supporting a film that shares the full Hershey story, one of resilience and lasting impact.
