Fat Joe was the talk of the town after he hit the pitcher's mound to perform during the World Series.

Joey Crack supported the New York Yankees by delivering a medley of his hits to kick off Game 3 on Monday night, October 28. He opened with "Lean Back" and followed it with an updated version of "New York" featuring lyrics inspired by the games against the Los Angeles Dodgers. While some of the fans in the crowd were feeling his performance, other critics sounded off after they saw Joe rock wheat Timberland boots on the pitcher's mound.

"This fat joe opening is the worst thing I’ve ever heard in my life," one person wrote on X.

"That man Fat Joe on the mound in Tims," said comedian Roy Wood Jr. "I KNOW them groundskeepers off camera having a heart attack. 😂😂"

Fat Joe performed at Game 3 after the Dodgers invited Ice Cube to hit the mic at Dodgers Stadium during Game 2 of the World Series. The West Coast legend performed songs like "Bow Down" and his hit "It Was A Good Day." He also switched up lyrics in the latter track to appease the baseball fans in the stands. Some fans compared Joe and Cube's opening performances, and they're convinced the rapper-actor had the better set.

"Fat Joe assssss compared to CUBE… WEST SIDE RULES forever and ALWAYS," one fan wrote.
