This event is a celebration of the resilience , creativity, and beauty of Black women throughout history. Through art, this ode will serve to recognize the
emancipation of slavery in the USA and highlighting this pivotal moment for Black women and their exponential growth within society. The Black Art Expo will be an immersive experience featuring a curated selection of art exhibitions, a documentary-style film exploring the multifaceted experiences of Black women, live musical performances, artisan vendors and interactive, hands- on experiences to enhance the art experience.
